historical museum Mejillones
The municipal Mejillones museum is located in a historic conservation building. Originally built as a customs service in 1909.
All Oregon Pine construction. In 1997 it was opened as a museum housing the history of mussels.
Year of construction: 1906. The installation of the railway company constitutes the most relevant historical milestone related to the founding of the town and port of Mejillones.
